Nintendo Wii Fit Bundle: a First Impression Review
Well, I finally decided to get it. A few days ago, I finally made the difficult decision of purchasing the Nintendo Wii Fit Bundle. Alright I admit, this is not really difficult because I had to a real bargain. When I received the package by mail, I could not contain my excitement. After all, the Nintendo Wii Fit is the latest innovative games and the prime mover in the market today!
What is the Nintendo Wii Fit Bundle?
As I unpack my Nintendo Wii Fit bundle package with impatience, I notice there are a number of items included. There is a console game Nintendo Wii, the Wii Fit Balance Board and a peripheral accessories such as the console stand, remote console games, nunchuck, power adapter and AV cables. Included with the Balance Board is a software disc that contains activities or exercises such as yoga, body balance, strength training and aerobic exercises and routines.
My game of the Wii console also came with 5 Wii Sports tennis, bowling, baseball, golf and boxing. Now, you will need the console Wii game before you can use Wii Fit system. When I was planning my purchase, I noticed there was a lot of packages Selling at prices that defy all over the web. But beware, most of them do not understand the Wii game console! You may end up paying more if you buy separately. If you do not have the Wii game console, the most economical choice is the Wii Fit bundle as retailers tend to package, a more attractive price.
My experience driving on the Nintendo Wii Fit
After I configure the Wii Fit, I started working on it with a heart rate monitor attached to my wrist. It took some time for me to get used to navigation in the menus but frankly, they are rather user friendly. It may take some time out of training time, but I'm sure we can be minimized once I get familiar with the system.
What I noticed is, certain activities has given me such a good workout as I expected. The soccer heading game was a disappointment and did not even raise my heart rate above the minimum. And when I compare my statistics through activities such as yoga, weight training, aerobics and balance, aerobic section stood out.
My favorite was by far the Hula Hoop game. As I tried to balance myself, keeping all the hoops in the air while catching a bit more, my heart was beating increased to 172bpm. Not only was it a good workout, it was very fun and enjoyable.
Perhaps you might ask "So, do you think the Nintendo Wii Fit is a good way to lose weight?". Personally, I do not think Wii Fit can really help you lose much weight given the nature of the activities. Maybe one or two pounds per week. But I'm sure they will be very effective in another department of your life.
