How can I find motivation to exercise?
Hi I'm in my 40's, about an overweight stone and no matter what I try I can not find the motivation to stick with exercise. I have DVDs been gymnasiums, coaches Personal tried etc etc. But I can not find an enjoyable exercise, I feel quite unfit so everything is hard and I wish I did not. But I do want to improve my fitness. I hated sports as a kid, but as a teenager I made a lot of aerobics, etc. and even thought training to be an aerobics teacher. That all seems a long time and I get blown to walk up a hill. Someone can suggest ways to work exercise into my life in a way that encourages rather than discourages me? How do I get off the couch begins to move and keep smiling? Thank you in advance
Stephen Fry lost 6 stone on his appearance on Top Gear, and he is 52 years. He said that the way he has lost weight simply by walking and listening to audio books. So think of all the books you have read and give it a go. If you've tried personal trainers and it does not work, do not try again. They are paid to help you lose weight and you say you can not be substantiated. You say you have a passion for aerobics, try simple things like stretching your muscles when you wake up.
