golf fitness academy

I am a 13 year old boy and I want to join the Academy of the Air Force when I'm 18?
I am 13 years old and as you know, I want to join the USAF Academy. At my school we do fitness tests and I for the last 2 years have been meeting or exceeding standards set for men at the USAFA. Although we do not do push-ups, I tested with a couple friends and I reached 42. On my report card for the end of the year i received all A's and two B's B's were in English, which is a B + and the other was a B and he was regularly in the computer that I received because I was on an older computer (a toaster that people in my school call them) This computer was not all programs nessisary I needed to get an A on the test. I'm in sports like football, freestyle skiing (ski trick), golf and tennis. I never had any serious problems (such as drugs, alcohol, vandalism, and so on and so forth. This summer I plan to participate in volunteer work. I wonder if I am a likely recovery or if I have a chance to enter the academy.
I do not think "it is too early." If you have a long-term it is never too early to try to achieve this goal. You have a better chance because you already ask these questions early. You have more than enough time to establish a good reputation. But you must stay focused. You can start now, this summer to work toward your goal. If you get a chance to be a volunteer in the office of someone running for election to do so. Whether your MP or Senator is being execution for re-election this fall. If it is, you can volunteer to help. Or you can volunteer for someone which is itself a challenge. For now, if your senator or member is a Republican, they may be on the way in considering the issues on the economy and war. In this case, work for the Democratic candidate in May of sense, because it may have a very good chance of winning and four years from now when you start have to really shine for an appointment, you remember that volunteering for him. However, it is preferable to choose a political side and stick to it. Loyalty is a very important feature in the service. Flip flop from one party to another will back fire on you. secondary is what they will really watching. Take a deep breath and read on. Take advanced courses. You have to work harder but it helps to show you ready to tackle the hard work. Never be afraid to ask teachers for extra help. They prefer to see students asking assistance for flounder and fail. Take extra math and science courses you are required to take. The USAF is a service very Technical and if you do in math and science USAFA extra help really. Take some classes of dual credit at your local college JR. Even if you take one college course each semester for your three years of high school, you'll graduate with more credits than necessary and have college credits already on your disk. If you take a language course, do not the French, Italian, or one Other standard course that our schools seem to be stuck on. Spanish, although you will help to inform a large percentage of the company is not what services they really need. What they need are fluent in Chinese and Arabic translators. If you have two or three more years and speak it well, it will certainly be something they will notice when it comes time to choose candidates for USAFA. (Many colleges require that you have two years of a foreign language to obtain a license. If you do the language of your local college JR it counts and you need not worry that no matter where you go.) Obtain at least a 3.8 average in your core (compulsory) courses. Although it is good to get great grades in all, these are the basic courses that count really. An "A" in mathematics is worth more than an "A" in art. If your school has a unit JR ROTC, join and work hard to be a leader. A recommendation form ROTC commander really helps. Try to get on a team drill. The team gets a guard of honor many opinions, but it takes time. Being involved in school policy, athletics and fundraising. Want to show you are not just a book worm. STAY OUT OF TROUBLE! I do not know how many times I have seen outstanding candidate get turned down because they became entangled in a farce that led to criminal charges, a DUI, drug bust, a car accident. Part of this is to avoid the crowd which is known to be troublemakers. Those who take ROTC are generally less likely to be troublesome if it is a good gang to hang. Parallel to this, will not be a tattoo or piercing. Finally, ignore those who say it is "easy" to enter the time Currently, the number of applicants seeking to enter the academies such low odds are pretty good. But how do you know the 4-5 years from now it will always true? The wars in Iraq and Afghanistan in May and finished as the number of applicants may be much higher, lowering the rating. Keep in mind that sometimes it works that you do not offer an appointment to the Academy that you want but do offer an appointment at one of the other academies. (Army, Navy, Coast Guard, Merchant Navy). If you do, do not consider yourself a failure that any offer of appointment is an honor and recognition your hard work. Good luck.
