Is vitamin water fitness safe to drink during pregnancy?
I heard that the overload on vitamins can be bad for you. I'm already taking a prenatal vitamin with DHA as a supplement. I like the flavored water delivery shaped like Propel with calcium, but this extra dose of vitamins good or bad for my baby?
I just talked to my OB a few days ago what I can or can not drink (I'm 20 weeks). I never mentioned specifically Propel, but she said everything is pretty safe in moderation (Except the obvious: drugs, alcohol, etc.). Your body can not absorb as much calcium they need in one serving (500 mg); anything over 500 is excreted. But you must be careful with vitamins that your body clings to (fat soluble in water compared soluble) because it may cause a problem. Just run it from your doc … you should be fine!
