How long before a 5'6 "woman should see results?
I'm 165 pounds and have recently launched a fitness where I burn between 350-500 calories per day on the elliptical (30-50min) and were eating vegetarian and watching my portions? … In fact, I won a book …. but obviously what I want is weight loss.
I lost about 100 pounds so far by the passage a pure vegetarian diet and moderate exercise. Vegans can eat too much bad food, and thus gain weight. In addition to avoiding products animal, suggest you try to minimize oil, fats, sugars, salt, MSG, aspartame and other additives food. This diet excludes most prepackaged foods vegan. (Dr. Essestyn Caldwell, Jr. and Dr. Neal Barnard has excellent advice) I eat Herbal mostly whole foods prepared in my own kitchen. My taste in food has changed over time and I'm not I'm addicted to unhealthy additives that I listed above. I found that my level of aerobic exercise was not extreme helped as much as I thought it was. I unconsciously stepped up my calories for the match and found the food with the calories (oil). I reached a plateau for about a year until I read "Fasting and Eating for Health" by Dr. Joel Fuhrman. He recommends a diet Herbal whole very similar to other authors I mentioned. In addition, he advises his clients (who are healthy eating and conditions specific health) to conduct a water fast under medical supervision. I made two fasts of water and I lost one pound for each day of fasting. Other types of fasting are not as beneficial for the reasons he explains in the book. You should eat healthy before fasting for some number of weeks. Fasting permanently squelch your appetite if you do it correctly. Make sure you work with a doctor qualified or naturalpath which includes fasting. If you are on a cholesterol-lowering medications or other drugs, it can be dangerous. You should probably weened off the drugs before attempting a fast. Otherwise, it can be a very good way to help your system recover of excess weight and other health problems.
