Cheers! Bottoms Up with aspartame

Let me preface this article by saying that I was equally guilty that most in the quest to look fit, trim and healthy. After being a big kid, I became obsessed with drawing and weight control and made the mission throughout my adult life. Gym rat and cons of carbohydrates, supplements, diet products and all aboard I could come in the eternal battle against the bulge. From the outside, had succeeded more than most.

I do bodybuilding competitive amateur until the age of 48 years, and has even won the division a few trophies control. In our early fifties, my wife and I, who both work hard at it, are the image of health and fitness in the eyes of many. At the same time, we both lamented the constant aches, joint pains and ailments ghost that has never diagnosed. It became a game Within the good humor of a Upping each other and who are suffering most of the day. Trips to the doctor's office is becoming more more frequent, as are the trucks at the pharmacy.

It was easy to dismiss as part of being over the hill, as we have justified. For me it was even easier to play-off, all the years and years of competitive sports like football, baseball, and even boxing and martial arts is taking its toll on my joints and what else could be expected from the long trail of broken bones, sprains and muscle pulls. Hey, you'll pay the price I told my wife that I was slightly out of bed in the morning, grinning for a few minutes until that things are made. I even noticed in recent years five or mood swings and depression started is set into motion and become more problematic with each passing year. It is much easier to recover mentally, attributing it to be business with my spouse and the financial pressures associated with this argument and maintaining my own full-time career further. The reality of planning retirement, becoming a grandparent new and trying to help my own young adult children make their way in the world have added to the stress, even highlight some of it was good. Who would not begin to buckle a little under the load type?

Then, from almost a fluke, I stumbled on something that had the most dramatic effect on the quality of my health, both physical and mental, that I never imagined. I always been a user of diet products and diet soda and other beverages, which were the norm for me. The warehouse near mall us began to carry Crystal Light powder in bulk at a very low price. I started using that as my main drink and significantly increased the amount I drank. I developed a constant intestinal distress, lightheadedness, increased joint pain, irritability and bad mood. (Yes, even worse than normal). I was totally confused about what was happening more and more frustrated that my doctor could not identify. Incidentally, my wife mentioned her problems to aid opportunities (aspartame) and after reading the label saw that it was the sweetener used in Crystal Light. Having a keen interest in nutrition and training in science, I dove in research on aspartame.

After a few hours on Google in one night, I went into the bedroom with my mouth agape. I explained to the woman I was shocked that this additive has never been allowed on the market. I read the whole story how our trust FDA has removed any independent research has shown that these dangers, and based on studies conducted by Monsanto, chemical company who own them. Even an FDA panel rescinded the approval in the early eighties due to studies showing that a seizure and brain tumors in laboratory animals. Through political pressure and money, they gave in. Commissioner FDA Arthur Hull Hayes dismissed the panel recommendation, and granted full approval. Within three months of this approval, Mr. Hayes resigned from the FDA to accept another position. Want to guess what it was? A paid consultant for Searle, who happens to be the pharmaceutical industry Monsanto that manufactures aspartame.

The breakdown products of aspartame in your body are methanol and formaldehyde, both known toxins. Yes, methanol, the same product is added to gasoline. I suppose it was intended to restart our engines each morning with a package of opportunities on our cereal. To make a long story short and save some of the more technical aspects for a future article, by removing one product from my diet for good, 95% of all ills, aches and pains have disappeared. My mental attitude has been dramatic as has my tolerance to stress. Day and night has been my experience and I only wish I had this information much earlier in life. Please use my experience as basis for doing your own research on the additive and nearly a hundred adverse side effects attributed to him. The next Once you raise a glass to "Courage", leave the image of a package of equal drag in your mind, with just a hint of formaldehyde. Do not get me wrong, formaldehyde is an excellent product if you are an embalmed corpse. Do not become a walk once
