Fitness Business Marketing 2.0
When I started my personal training business, I was distraught when it is advice fitness marketing company. I wish someone made a list like this for me!
My problem was I had crappy sales skills!
The first marketing task I tried was sending 500 postcards via direct mail.
The results of this was not too bad. I actually received more than 10 appointments scheduled (when I started, I was training at home). When I met these people, I had no idea what to do, so I not been able to conclude the case with one perspective. This meant that I spent $ 1000 and I have no clients — was not a wonderful idea.
That's why I'm always telling others to start with a small budget or no budget to Are you able to pay for promotions that everything cost a little more.
So I wanted to share a bit of fitness marketing strategies that you can use free to promote your business. The great thing is if you're just starting or already in business, you can use these strategies.
1 – Create a Website Awesome – When I started my first site, it was bad. There was no way for anyone to contact me at all. This is not totally free, but you'll only spend about $ 10 per month and charge your domain name for one year so it's close to free. Some elements of your site must:
– A great sales page
– Pages optimized with keywords bring traffic. (I really 3K pages that have optimized content on them)
– Great call to action on every page, using a form or call submission.
– Tracking System
– Lots of great stories
This can help you get consultations and tests and you can also get great leads to follow up with your car Responder service. Then when you start something new, you have a bed of prospects that there probably will be interested in what you begin to offer.
You can also doing promotions or special offers throughout the year.
When you know how to dominate the market, you can really make your business appear as a fitness solution – even more so if you get a high Google ranking.
An example is a client that I spoke recently. He said he was not able to find other trainers in this city because all the sites put it to me and the company I run. Nice!
2 – craigslist – Until I saw how others have used Craigslist, I thought I was doing well. So I decided to make a real marketing machine for my business which is totally free. Use craigslist is one of the best free methods to get customers for training camps and personal training, but many do not know how to use it. Using it means that you post 10 ads or more each day. Some people may upset but that's all part of it. If you do not reported, or retrieve the mail villain, then you are not enough! You need some excellent ads or posts, including some graphics and text. I use a ton of posts – like 50 of them! – All Completel with subject lines interesting and unique. Throughout the week, they are viewing on different accounts from Monday to Saturday, 1-15 times a day. Here are some of the categories, I tend to save every day.

– Event: General
– Beauty
– Groups
– Creative
– Talent

– Therapeutics
– And more …
Each listing is suitable for category it is to avoid being reported. An example is in the Travel and Vacation Article I speaks well for the holidays.
The big secret to be used for get this to work for you is to use several different jobs and keep many of them unidentifiable. This means that you do not mention not your name or your company in the position. Just give people the solution, sorta like a sequence of two steps. In this way, unless people are in done at the site, they never connect all these ads. Another idea is to use different URLs that send people to the same site or using the pages of your site that are not identifiable.
It must be for a variety of the ads that use graphics and text that they used. If you just send a listing of everywhere, you get scored and you would not get a great response.
3 – Advertising is free – If you have time, is one of the best options to use. With a few hours of work, I was able to get two columns magazine on a monthly basis at the local level, to be presented in the newspaper in the region, focusing on all local television stations as well. All this brought in more customers. Another advantage of advertising is that you will also have the credibility. The extraordinary aspect is that I was able to use the television and magazines, advertising, and it spreads quickly to my clients, their friends. This can certainly great advantages. I even get a free listing in a magazine on a monthly basis. I'm really going to share with you the steps I used to get in magazines and television programs. In fact, if you know what measures to use, it is not difficult at all. Here all what to do:
– Calculate the producers who happen to be for the television station – you can call and ask
– Come with a story that is relevant to national health or print news – such as Yahoo
– Pitch your angle and make it relevant to what is news or a topic that is hot For example, I actually had a great story to try and get fit in a tough economy or on a tight budget and has been featured on the news. The station has come, has saved some of the workout group, and I will also gave an interview about the company I run.
This is a wonderful way you can get visibility into your community and it gives you an advantage over competitors. After all, everyone wants to train with someone who is on television.
Much is that you do not really need to be good – or that's how I found it to be. When I was in the television the first two times I was not a great TV personality. They give me more chances and I continued to improve over time.
It's the same with the columns forming magazine. I've never been a big fan of writing. The first Once I took a piece to the editor of the paper in my area, he informed me that I needed real help. I went back, read many books about writing and got some practice. This has improved my writing and I am writing for magazines now too. You can learn these skills and improve if you need.

4 – Joint Ventures or Leadbox Campaigns – it also may take some time to work, but when you get it going, it can not be stopped. As I started to get busier, I had more trouble keeping the place, but it still works fine. Jump to the businesses in your area, such as:
– Chiropractors
– Salons
– Day Spas
– Massage Therapists
– Salons
– Dentists Office
– Nail Salons
– Nutrition Store
– Video Stores
– And more …
Just about anywhere is great as long as the place gets a lot of traffic. You can ask your customers to places they use to get in the door, or you can go to local businesses and offer them membership or training to enable you to have these boxes in their office or shop.
Give them more than consultation, as a trial for two weeks – Which is something precious. Then make sure you follow up on the tracks on a weekly basis. While the conversions may not be as high as are from a good website, you can get everything a little conversion if you follow through on this point.
