kneeling basketball throw for the U.S. Air Force?

I'm preparing for my CFA (Candidate Fitness Assessment) and I feel like I'm doing ok on everything. I can do 14 pull-ups pace, about 55-60 pumps and 80 sit-ups. I run the mile in 6:52 ET my shuttle run is 7.5 but I can not do well on the basketball throw. I'm 5'5, 133 pounds and I can only throw the ball more than 55ft while the average score for the cadets of the Air Force is 69ft. I'm not one to complain, but I feel that I am completely at a disadvantage because my hands are smaller and I do not know what I can To increase this distance. can someone help me?
