Exercise Slant Board
Exercise help.. (mainly abdominal)?
Okay I’m working out everyday of the week, apart from Sunday. I’m cycling up to 15miles (24km) a day, I find that fine, no aches no pains.
But when I do crunches to help tone up my abdomin, the next day I’m in agony and can barely get up. How often do you recommend I should do crunches?? How many should I do (baring in mind I’m just starting out)?? I do also have a slant crunch board. Could anyone experienced help me figure out a routine to help me tone my stomach, and how to stop so much pain the next day??
Are there any products to also help build protein in my muscles to help tone up faster.
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you =)
I never recommend supplements to anyone. Unless you’re a pro athlete it’s not necessary. Do you spend 8 hours a day exercising? No? Then you get enough nutrients and protein in your regular diet. Supplements make a lot of people chubby because they simply don’t do the research, and the store just wants to make a sale.
If you’re in agony, do less. You can do crunches everyday, but if you have a weak core don’t over do it. It’s the same with running or cycling. If you’re in pain, STOP. It’s only going to do damage. What you want to do is slowly build stamina one day at a time. Do what you are comfortable doing, and then push it A LITTLE past that.
