exercise ideas for kids?
There are a couple of kids in my martial arts school and I’m looking for a few creative exercise ideas that will be also fun and beneficial to them..They are around 10 years old.Any ideas?
what seems to work best at our school is ‘circle tag’…kids LOVE this game…
basically have them all stand in a circle, and one person is ‘it’ and chases another person (you choose the first 2 people) and they play ‘tag’ basically, BUT the twist is is that if you are being chased, you can stand in front of someone who is in the circle, and that person becomes the ‘chased’
and then to make sure they know it will benefit their martial arts skills, tell them that the dodging and fast moving will help in their sparring.
