All prisons shall be converted to the following standards and all new ones shall meet them.
1. All inmates recieve a cell with 1 bed, 1 chair, and 1 desk. made of steel and unmovable.
2. All cells shall be 8 feet long, 6 feet wide, and 6 foot cieling hieght.
3. All cells will have only 1 light in the cieling. Any inmate that damages any items in the cell shall be placed into a solitary confinement cell 4 ft X 4 ft X 4 ft. for a minimum of 30 days.
4. No wieghts, basketballs, sports equipment, or pleasure items allowed. All inmates shall recieve the standard suggested exercise allowance time of 1 hour three times a week.
5. Cable TV will be allowed with only the news, weather, and educational channels allowed.
6. Mild and short term prisoners shall be sent out on chain gangs, in shackles to perform cleanup on roadways.
I don’t like the idea of giving them cable TV. Give them books instead, and limit the types of books available. Also, no outside work, if they want to work give them jobs on the inside without cash wages. Let them work for a reduction of their sentence…….credit of one day for every month worked.
