This year I decided that I wanted to lose weight and burn calories. My early thirties haven’t been kind to me so I thought I’d look at an exercise bike and whether than could help me with my fitness aims.
York C201 Cycle Review
I bought a York Anniversary C201 exercise bike. It’s quite popular fitness cycle and I got for a quite cheap. The functionality is pretty advanced if you want to lose weight and burn those unwanted and extra calories. For my budget this seemed to be the best fit. This is my review of that cycle so hopefully it will help you to choose a York exercise bike too.
Magnetic Resistance
There aren’t many other exercise bikes on the market that have magnetic resistance like the York C201 Cycle. I did shop around. This meant my ride was smooth. This means it’s really quiet which is an important feature is for me when getting fit at home.
To change the level of resistance all I needed to do was press a button on the LCD Computer Console and that gave me access to 16 different difficulty settings. I found that over time I was able to build-up my workout gradually.
LCD Computer
The computer on the York C201 Exercise Bike displays time, distance, speed, pulse and burnt calories and overall the bike was sturdy and it’s easy to assemble. I did actually read the instructions and I was ready to go within an hour of delivery to my door.
Workout Programmes
I thought I might get bored soon, but the York C201 cycle has kept me interested and motivated as there are 21 different workout programmes as well as heart rate sensors. The seat is adjustable and as a result my wife and kids have both been able to use it.
